Job Purpose

All teachers, teacher assistants, and leaders in Tunku Putra-HELP need to demonstrate the skills and experience necessary to provide educational leadership within their own practice. Reporting To

Assistant Principal IP, and ultimately, the Executive Principal

Requirements

  • Education – Bachelor's Degree / Master's Degree Preferred
  • Teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS or equivalent)
  • Relevant experience in a primary setting
  • Good cross-cultural, interpersonal and communication skills, and an affinity for interacting with diverse nationalities and cultures
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience of thematic curriculum is desirable

The Role

Tunku Putra-HELP is seeking to employ a Homeroom Teacher to teach within the International Primary section. The successful candidate will:

  • Play a key role in the development of this area of school life
  • Take on the role of Homeroom Teacher in IP, delivering maths, science, literacy, PSHE, and the IPC
  • Support the holistic development of our learners with enjoyable, relevant, and rigorous learning, preparing them to be globally competent, socially conscious, and motivated individuals that positively contribute to the world they live in
  • Ensure all students have access to the best possible care and support; achieve their full potential; and thrive within a challenging and supportive environment
  • Continually look for opportunities for professional growth and development
  • Promote well-being of students at all times, and proactively safeguard students according to school safeguarding policies and procedures
  • Embrace the opportunities to contribute to the wider life of our school community
