About the role

REXBRIDGE SDN BHD, a MSC status company based in the historic city of Melaka is seeking talented Software Development Engineer(s) to join our team in Melaka. As a full-time employee, you will play a crucial role in driving the development of innovative software solutions that power our business.

What you'll be doing

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance high-quality, scalable web based supply chain platform
  • Develop and maintain Electronic Data Integration (EDI) with 3rd Party ERP, Accounting Software, and Bank
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Write clean, efficient and well-documented code
  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from ideation to deployment
  • Identify and resolve software issues, ensuring the reliability and performance of our systems
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes and practices
  • Stay current with industry trends and technology developments

What we're looking for

  • A Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence or related field
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in NodeJS and ReactJS web programming and development
  • Knowledge in APIs is a plus
  • Proficiency in technical stacks: jQuery, HTML, etc
  • Strong proficiency in programming languages such as PHP, Python, or Java
  • Familiarity with data exchange through Web Services, work with RESTful APIs for data exchange including parsing JSON and XML formats
  • Solid understanding of MYSQL and PostgreSQL databases and their query languages
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skill
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
