A. Food Preparation & Cooking

  • Assist in preparing, cooking, and assembling menu items according to company recipes and quality standards.
  • Ensure food portions, presentation, and taste are consistent at all times.
  • Support chefs or cooks in daily kitchen operations, including prepping ingredients and managing cooking stations.
  • Monitor and replenish food supplies during service hours.

B. Hygiene & Safety Compliance

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, storage, and equipment areas.
  • Follow all food safety and hygiene standards in compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
  • Handle kitchen tools and equipment safely and responsibly.
  • Report any damaged or malfunctioning equipment to the Supervisor immediately.

C. Teamwork & Communication

  • Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth and efficient kitchen operations.
  • Assist other kitchen staff during busy periods to meet customer demand.
  • Communicate effectively with front-of-house staff to ensure timely and accurate food service.

D. Inventory & Waste Control

  • Assist in receiving, checking, and storing kitchen supplies and ingredients properly.
  • Practice proper stock rotation (FIFO – First In, First Out) to minimize waste.
  • Report low stock levels or shortages to the Supervisor for timely replenishment.
  • Help reduce food wastage through proper handling and portion control.

Requirements:

  • Minimum SPM qualification or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in F&B or kitchen operations is an added advantage (training will be provided).
  • Basic knowledge of food hygiene and safety practices.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team.
  • Willing to work on shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM1, RM2,000.00 per month
