About the role

This is a full-time Draftsman position at Gruppe Lighting Solution Sdn Bhd' based in Shah Alam, Selangor. As a Draftsman, you will play a crucial role in the Engineering team, responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans to support the company's lighting solutions.

What you'll be doing

  1. Produce detailed technical drawings for lighting system
  2. Collaborate with the Sales team to ensure designs meet technical specifications and safety standards
  3. Review and interpret engineering documents, tenders and etc
  4. Provide support to project and installation teams by answering technical queries
  5. Stay up-to-date with the latest drafting technologies, methods, and industry standards
  6. Maintain accurate and organised records of all technical drawings and documentation

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 2 years of experience as a Draftsman, preferably in the Engineering or lighting industry
  2. Strong proficiency in using CAD software, such as AutoCAD or Solidworks and photoshop
  3. Attention to detail and the ability to work accurately to meet deadlines
  4. Good problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  5. Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
