About the role
- 5 days work week
- Entitle for yearly salary increment (After complete minimum 1 year of work)
- Entitle for yearly bonus (AWS)
- Entitle for Birthday Leave
What you'll be doing
- Maintaining accurate financial records and assisting with accounting tasks such as invoicing, bookkeeping, expense management, handle Accounts Payable, handle Accounts Receivables, and prepare Monthly Management Accounts
- Providing administrative support including data entry, document management, general office duties such as record keeping, issue payment vouchers, prepare cheques, accurately post journal vouchers, payments and receipts
- Assist to perform bank reconciliations, maintain proper accounting records, assist with the preparation of financial reports
- Handle payroll data entry, reviewing timesheets, calculating wages, create salary report, ensuring accurate calculation and timely submission of EPF, SOCSO and Tax
- Performing other ad-hoc tasks as required to support the overall business objectives
What we're looking for
- SPM or STPM level education or equivalent
- Entry level. No experience required (Have basic accounting background in SPM/ STPM)
- Proficient in MS Office suite, particularly Excel
- Experience in accounting software such as Bukku and AutoCount is added advantage (Not necessary, training provided if no experience)
- Willing to learn and willing to perform well in accounting
