You'll oversee everything from productions, trainings and recipe development to quality control and manpower management; ensuring every baked goods that leaves our kitchen reflects the Kenny Hills standard of excellence.

Key Responsibilities includes but not limited to:

Leadership & Management

Lead, train, and mentor the pastry and bakery team across all outlets and central kitchens.

Set performance goals, conduct regular evaluations, and foster a positive, growth-driven kitchen culture.

Ensure all pastry team members uphold the company's values, hygiene, and quality standards.

Develop work schedules, manage manpower planning, and ensure smooth kitchen operations.

Conduct regular team briefings, trainings, and R&D sessions.

Menu Development & Product Innovation

Design, test, and implement new pastry and dessert menu items in line with brand identity and seasonal trends.

Collaborate with Operations and Marketing for product launches, campaigns, and special events.

Standardize recipes, portioning, and presentation to ensure consistency across all locations.

Keep abreast of global pastry trends and continuously elevate the brand's offerings.

Production & Quality Control

Oversee daily production planning and ensure optimal stock levels for all outlets.

Maintain top-tier quality, freshness, and presentation of all pastry and bakery items.

Establish and monitor production SOPs, food safety procedures, and hygiene standards.

Conduct regular tasting and quality checks; address issues promptly.

Cost Management & Inventory Control

Manage ingredient procurement, costing, and waste control to meet targeted food cost margins.

Oversee inventory and ensure FIFO practices are strictly followed.

Approve supplier orders and monitor delivery quality and accuracy.

Review monthly cost reports and identify areas for efficiency improvements.

Cross-Department Collaboration

Partner with Operations, Marketing, and Procurement teams to support outlet openings and brand development.

Coordinate with the QA Department for food safety audits and corrective actions.

Provide input during new outlet planning and setup for pastry/bakery sections.

Health, Safety & Compliance

Ensure full compliance with food safety, hygiene, and occupational safety standards.

Regularly review and improve kitchen maintenance, cleanliness, and safety protocols.

Conduct regular inspections and liaise with QA and Maintenance for follow-up actions.

Qualifications & Experience


• Diploma or Degree in Culinary Arts, Pastry & Baking, or equivalent.


• Minimum 8–10 years experience in bakery/pastry production, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.


• Proven record in managing multi-outlet pastry operations or large-scale central kitchens.


• Strong knowledge of pastry techniques, ingredient sourcing, and modern dessert trends.


• Excellent leadership, organization, and communication skills.
