Adecco is seeking a Network Engineer to join our client's Information Technology department. This full-time position reports to the Head of IT Operations and involves designing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting the organization's network infrastructure. The role requires collaboration with IT and business teams to ensure network availability, performance, and security across local (LAN), wide (WAN), and wireless networks. The Network Engineer will support existing systems, implement new technologies, and optimize network performance

What will you Do?

  • Design and build robust network architecture, including LAN, WAN, and VPN to meet business needs
  • Configure and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking devices to ensure efficient network operation
  • Monitor network performance, optimize bandwidth usage, and address any connectivity issues
  • Implement network security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and secure access protocols
  • Diagnose and resolve network-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption to services

Your Skills

  • In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, BGP, OSPF, and MPLS
  • Experience with Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Juniper, or HPE Aruba network devices
  • Familiar with network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, PRTG, and Wireshark
  • Understanding of firewall management, VPNs, and network access controls
  • Basic knowledge of cloud networking with Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud is an advantage
