We are looking for a motivated and responsible Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) Intern to support our SHE Department in daily operations and documentation activities. This internship provides hands-on experience in workplace safety management, inspections, training support, and administrative coordination, offering valuable exposure to a real working environment.

Key Responsibilities

Documentation & Records Management

  • Assist in maintaining and updating SHE documents (SOP, forms, SDS, checklists).
  • Support proper filing and organization of safety records and reports.
  • Update training, inspection, and incident records when required.

Inspection & Monitoring

  • Assist in conducting SHE inspections at HQ and Distribution Centre (DC).
  • Take photos, identify findings, and assist with simple corrective action reports.
  • Support housekeeping and safety compliance monitoring.

Training & Awareness Programs

  • Assist in preparation of SHE training materials (slides, attendance lists, handouts).
  • Support training setup and coordination.

Incident & Reporting Support

  • Assist in collecting information related to accidents/incidents and near misses.
  • Draft simple incident summaries and assist in documentation.

Administrative Support

  • Perform SHE-related admin tasks (email communication, printing, filing).
  • Assist in coordinating safety programs and internal communications.
  • Support other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the Supervisor/Manager.

Education & Requirements

  • Diploma / Degree in Occupational Safety & Health (OSH), Environmental Health, or related field are welcome to apply as well.
  • Basic understanding of Safety and Health principles.
  • Computer literate (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and follow instructions.
  • Willing to learn and possess a positive working attitude.
  • Required languages: Malay and English.
  • Able to start internship in December / January onwards (preferred).

Job Type: Internship

Contract length: 3 months

Pay: RM1,000.00 per month
