Job Description
Responsible for contributing as an individual engineer on implementing new features or enhancing existing features for the product.
Responsible for participating in all aspects of the product development process including requirement definition, design, implementation and testing.
Responsible for Analyzing software requirements to determine feasibility of design within quality assurance, time and cost constraints.
Responsible for coordinating and participating in software design and code review.
Responsible for creating and executing unit, integration and system tests.
Collaborate with the front end team and test team to ensure the best solution is always in place to promote successful feature deployment.
To meet project's deliverables and timeline requirements in a highly dynamic environment.
Adhere to the team's performance and quality metrics.
To collect and analyze data affecting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Contribute to the improvement of existing software development processes.
Basic Requirements
At least a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical / Electronic / Telecommunications / Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
Must have an in-depth understanding & experience in real-time embedded software development for communication devices, automotive applications, industrial automation and consumer products.
Must have experience in Embedded system debugging and strong analytical skills.
Must have good knowledge of microprocessors and controller design.
Must have good communication skills. Ability to work and communicate well across different design centers
Must have good programming skills in C/C++ and Assembly Language.
Candidates must be willing to work in Bayan Lepas, Penang.
Knowledge/experience of Wireless Technologies, Bluetooth will be an added advantage.
