Your Role in Our Mission

As the Lead - Global Performance & Total Reward, you will shape the framework that defines how excellence is measured, rewarded, and sustained at NEXT Ventures. This role leads the design of global compensation, performance, and reward systems that fuel motivation, meritocracy, and measurable impact. Working closely with the CPO, CFO, and business leadership, you'll ensure that every dollar of reward drives business outcomes — linking performance, profitability, and purpose across our global footprint.

How You'll Make an Impact

Global Total Rewards Strategy

  • Develop and evolve a unified global total rewards philosophy that reflects our trading performance culture, innovation objectives, and growth mindset.
  • Architect compensation structures tailored to the unique needs of trading, technology, research, and operations functions.
  • Oversee the full annual compensation cycle, including bonus pool modeling, calibration, and executive pay design.
  • Manage short-term and long-term incentive programs (STI, LTIP, deferred mechanisms) that reinforce firm and desk-level outcomes.
  • Partner with CPO, CFO, and Executive Committee to establish and maintain globally competitive reward frameworks linked to firm profitability.

Performance Management & OKR Framework

  • Design and operationalize a global performance management system integrating OKRs, reviews, and calibration processes.
  • Align OKRs across individual, team, and business levels to trading strategies and PnL outcomes.
  • Partner with senior leaders to define measurable success criteria for traders, technologists, and operations teams.
  • Embed a culture of continuous feedback and mid-cycle performance coaching.
  • Integrate performance and OKR results directly into compensation, promotion, and recognition decisions.
  • Oversee performance technology tools (e.g., HiBob, Revolut) to ensure global consistency and data accuracy.

Global Benefits, Wellbeing & Retention

  • Lead the design and enhancement of benefits programs aligned with retention goals and local market practices.
  • Develop holistic wellbeing strategies that promote physical, mental, and financial wellness in a fast-paced trading environment.
  • Monitor vendor partnerships, utilization trends, and ROI to ensure program efficiency and impact.

Governance, Compliance & Risk

  • Ensure global compliance with local employment, tax, and compensation regulations across SEA, South Asia, and EMEA.
  • Establish governance frameworks for compensation decisions, including approvals, audit trails, and documentation.
  • Collaborate with Legal and HR Business Partners to implement clawback, malus, and deferred compensation policies aligned with global standards.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • 12+ years of progressive HR experience, including 5+ years in leadership roles across Total Rewards or Performance.
  • Deep expertise in trading and investment compensation models (PnL-based, discretionary, deferred).
  • Proven success designing OKR or performance frameworks in fast-scaling, data-driven environments.
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills (Excel, Tableau, Power BI).
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills, adept at navigating executive and regional complexities.
  • High integrity, discretion, and resilience in high-performance, confidential environments.

Your X-Factor

  • Combines strategic vision with precision — designing reward systems that balance fairness and performance.
  • Understands the language of both finance and people, bridging data with motivation.
  • Thrives in complexity — structuring clarity amidst evolving global market dynamics.
  • Champions a performance culture rooted in transparency, accountability, and continuous growth

Your Journey After Applying

  • 30-minute HR Session with the Talent Acquisition team
  • 60-minute Technical Discussion with the Chief People Officer
