Job Overview:

We are looking for a skilled
React Native Front-End Developer
to take ownership of a mature, production-level mobile application. This role involves
bug fixing, app release management, code reviews, backend collaboration, and mentoring junior developers
. You'll work within a
cross-functional team
to ensure stability, improve code quality, and enhance the overall developer experience. The codebase is active and evolving, so we seek someone
proactive, patient, and comfortable working with areas that may have limited documentation
.

Experience with native iOS/Android development and modern development tooling is highly desirable
, alongside a strong commitment to code quality and production readiness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and fix bugs across the mobile app.
  • Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure quality, performance, and maintainability.
  • Manage and execute app releases for both iOS and Android, including versioning, changelogs, and deployments.
  • Collaborate closely with backend developers to resolve integration issues.
  • Navigate and contribute to an evolving codebase, including areas with limited documentation.
  • Improve workflows, tooling, and development standards continuously.
  • Mentor junior developers through code reviews, pairing sessions, and architectural discussions.

Technical Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience building mobile applications using
    React Native
    .
  • Strong proficiency in
    JavaScript/TypeScript
    , adhering to modern React best practices.
  • Experience with state management tools (Redux, Context API, etc.).
  • Familiarity with mobile
    CI/CD pipelines
    and release processes (e.g., Fastlane, GitHub Actions).
  • Confident working across both
    iOS and Android platforms
    .
  • Solid understanding of
    REST APIs
    and asynchronous data handling.
  • Ability to conduct detailed code reviews and identify potential issues early.

Preferred / Bonus Skills

  • Experience with
    native iOS (Swift/Obj-C)
    and
    Android (Kotlin/Java)
    development.
  • Exposure to debugging or working with
    custom native modules
    .
  • Familiarity with
    AWS CloudWatch
    or similar logging/monitoring tools.
  • Experience with
    automated testing frameworks
    (e.g., Jest, Detox).
  • Prior experience mentoring or supporting junior developers.
