Role Overview
The Shopify Ecom & CRO Manager is responsible for owning our Shopify storefront performance end to end – from landing page builds to conversion rate optimization and tracking. You will manage the store daily, run experiments, and work closely with the marketing lead, media buyer, and content team to turn traffic into profitable revenue.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize the Shopify store, ensuring a smooth, high-converting shopping experience across devices.
- Build, launch, and iterate landing pages using GemPages (and similar builders where needed) for campaigns, product launches, and funnels.
- Plan, set up, and maintain tracking infrastructure: pixels, GA4, Hotjar, and key Shopify tracking / bundling apps to ensure clean data.
- Own CRO: design and run A/B tests on pages, offers, and funnels to improve conversion rate and average order value (AOV).
- Set up and optimize Klaviyo flows (welcome, browse abandon, cart abandon, post‑purchase, win‑back) that align with customer journeys.
- Produce clear weekly performance reports with insights, experiment results, and next‑step recommendations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve Shopify issues (apps, theme conflicts, tracking bugs) with minimal supervision.
- Collaborate with the media buyer on landing pages and tracking for paid traffic, and with the content team to ensure on-brand, conversion‑focused creatives.
Requirements (Must-Haves)
- 2+ years hands-on experience managing
Shopify
stores for DTC brands, ideally in the RM50k+/month revenue range or equivalent. - Strong operator mindset: you can take a problem ("tracking is broken", "LP not converting") and return with a tested solution.
Proven experience with:
- Shopify store management
- GemPages or similar landing page builders (Replo, PageFly, etc.)
- Klaviyo or equivalent email automation platform
- GA4, Meta pixel/other ad pixels, and tools like Hotjar for behavioral analytics
- Strong analytical skills; able to interpret data, form hypotheses, and run structured tests.
