Driver Duties- Deliver goods to customers, branches, or sites safely and on time.
- Inspect and maintain the vehicle to ensure it is clean, roadworthy, and properly serviced.
- Assist in loading and unloading goods—ensure correct handling and safety.
- Check delivery orders and obtain customer signatures or proof of receipt.
- Comply with traffic laws and company transport policies.
- Receive, check, and record incoming stock (raw materials, finished goods, tools, etc.).
- Organize and store items properly in the store or warehouse.
- Perform stock checks and inventory updates using system (manual or digital).
- Pick, pack, and prepare items for delivery or usage.
- Maintain store cleanliness and safety (comply with SOPs and safety protocols).
- Monitor stock levels and alert the purchasing team when stock is low.
- Update stock records (manual logbook, Excel, or inventory system).
