To plan, supervise, and ensure smooth daily production operations — maintaining high standards of productivity, quality, food safety, and efficiency in line with the company's manufacturing objectives.

Responsibilities:

1. Production Planning & Coordination

  • Assist in preparing daily and weekly production schedules based on sales orders and inventory levels.
  • Coordinate with Supply Chain, R&D, and QC departments to ensure all raw materials and packaging are available.
  • Monitor production progress and adjust schedules when necessary to meet delivery deadlines.
  • Ensure proper manpower allocation and machine utilization.

2. Production Operations

  • Supervise and lead production workers to achieve production targets.
  • Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions.
  • Monitor product quality during production and report any deviations immediately.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and coordinate corrective actions with relevant teams.
  • Ensure all equipment is operated safely and efficiently.

3. Quality & Food Safety

  • Ensure all production activities comply with food safety standards such as HACCP, GMP, and Halal requirements.
  • Work closely with Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) teams to maintain product quality and consistency.
  • Ensure proper cleaning and sanitation procedures (CIP/SIP) are followed in production areas.
  • Conduct regular hygiene and safety inspections.

4. Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate production records including output, wastage, downtime, and material usage.
  • Prepare daily and monthly production reports for management review.
  • Record and verify batch numbers, lot traceability, and process parameters.
  • Ensure proper filing and documentation for audits and traceability purposes.

5. Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to improve production efficiency, reduce wastage, and optimize resource use.
  • Support new product trials and scale-up activities in coordination with R&D.
  • Suggest and implement improvements in process flow, layout, and machinery operation.

6. People Management

  • Train, guide, and motivate production team members to maintain high performance and discipline.
  • Ensure compliance with workplace safety, hygiene, and company regulations.
  • Monitor staff attendance, performance, and resolve minor operational issues on the floor.

Requirements:

  • Diploma/Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Manufacturing, or related field.
  • Minimum 2–4 years of experience in food manufacturing or FMCG production environment.
  • Strong understanding of food safety systems (HACCP, GMP, ISO 22000 & FSCC
  • Good leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Able to work in a fast paced environment and handle shift or weekend duties if required.
  • Knowledge in vegetarian or plant-based production processes is an added advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM4, RM5,000.00 per month
