Job Title: Sales Engineer (Sheet Metal& Stamping)

Department: Sheet Metal

Reports to: General Manager

DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:-

Summary: We are currently seeking for a detailed oriented and Sales Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible to explore and develop new business opportunities and supporting current product portfolios for our company. The incumbent be customer-oriented with good interpersonal skills and sales experience.

Duties and responsibilities include:-

  • Able to understand technical product specifications and keeping up-to-date with company new products as well as Industry/Market trend.
  • Conducting market research and obtaining feedback from clients to improve existing products.
  • Simplifying technical terms during product demonstrations and post-sales customer support.
  • Maintaining strong professional relationships with existing clients and meeting with new clients to expand sales territories.
  • Updating orders, sales, potential new clients and negotiating the best contract terms.
  • Listening to customers/new clients needs to resolve any process/product related issues, ideas for improvement and development on new opportunities towards growth objectives.
  • Writing reports and liaising with internal teams regarding issues, foreseeable problems and challenges and recommending solutions.
  • Fast response to customer inquiries and complaints and able to achieve customers' expectations.
  • Follow up on Quotations and to accomplished tasks set forth by Superior.

Qualifications and required skills:

  • Minimum 2 – 3 years experience in Manufacturing environment.
  • Diploma/Degree in Marketing/Engineering or related qualifications.
  • Candidates experience in Sheet Metal fabrication or Stamping are encouraged to apply.
  • Knowledge on MS Office Word and Excel, technical drawing and blueprints
  • Able to travel within Malaysia.
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be motivated and able to work on own initiative.
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Dependability – follow and responds to instructions

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM4, RM6,000.00 per month
