RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Specialize in preparing and cooking authentic Chinese Cuisine, including traditional Halal dishes.
  • Ensure all ingredients, preparation, cooking processes, and food handling adhere strictly to Halal standards.
  • Design and develop innovative and culturally authentic menus, incorporating both traditional and contemporary Chinese dishes.
  • Prepare and cook dishes with precision, ensuring a balance of flavors, appealing presentation, and high-quality standards.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards, as well as general workplace safety protocols.
  • Manage stock levels of ingredients and kitchen supplies, maintaining accurate inventory records and minimizing food waste.
  • Experiment with recipes, refine techniques, and innovate new dishes to expand the menu and attract diverse clientele.
  • Understand and incorporate cultural nuances and dietary preferences of Chinese cuisine into menu offerings and operations.

REQUIREMENTS :

  • SPM or equivalent
  • Prefer Malaysian LOCAL Only (CHINESE/INDIA/MALAY)
  • At least 2+ years experience in Chinese Cuisine
  • Understands Cantonese or Chinese Cuisine Home Cooking Style & Taste
  • Ability to read and follow a recipe by weighing and measuring ingredient
  • Ability to work in team.
