We are seeking a skilled and proactive IT Administrator to conduct the daily operations and optimization of our company's IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have expertise in ERP systems , system setup, user access management, and a comprehensive understanding of server security, backups, hardware, software, and operating systems. Additionally, you are required to coordinate in IT installations, upgrades, troubleshooting, and ensuring that all activities comply with legal and regulatory standards. To stay updated with the latest technology advancements and industry best practices to continuously improve IT operations.

Job Descriptions:

  • ERP System:

  • Manage user roles, permissions, and access rights to ensure proper functionality and security.

  • Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for ERP users, ensuring system uptime and user productivity.
  • To coordinate with ERP vendor for related IT technical on ERP licensing, system set up, training manuals, and providing user supports and trainings for the ERP implementation and day-to-day operations.
  • Cybersecurity and Compliance:

  • Monitor network and data security, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

  • Educate users on cybersecurity awareness and IT best practices.

  • System Administration:

  • Administer user accounts, permissions, and access rights across various platforms (e.g., Microsoft 365, Active Directory, File Server, Trend Micro Vision One).

  • Ensure data backup and disaster recovery systems are operational and tested.
  • Maintain and monitor firewall, antivirus, and other security tools.

  • Daily IT Operations, Collaboration and Support:

  • Create, maintain and update Master IT inventory records of all IT hardware and software license.

  • Responsible for internal and external IT inventory sighting/tagging and audit.
  • Coordinate with other departments to resolve IT issues and ensure systems are performing optimally.
  • Manage and monitor company servers, backup, network systems (LAN/WAN), and hardware including laptops, desktops, printers, barcode scanner, barcode printer and mobile devices to prevent disruptions in business operations.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for software, hardware, and network issues.
  • Coordinate regular system upgrades and patch management.
  • Identify and prepare hardware for disposal when appropriate.
  • Any other tasks as instructed by the Management

  • IT budget monitoring & Technology Advancements and Recommendations:

  • Prepare IT budget for procurement, maintaining and upgrading of IT infrastructure/software in company.

  • Liaise with department heads and management to identify IT hardware and software needs that improve business operations and efficiency.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends, application developments, and industry best practices.
  • Compliance and Regulatory Assurance:

  • Ensure all IT activities comply with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.

Requirements:

·       Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related fields.

·       Minimum of 1-2 years prior experience with providing IT related and workstation support, experience in ERP System knowledge will be more advantageous.

·       Good knowledge of Virtual Server/VMware/Hyper V, SAN/NAS Storage systems.

·       Experience with cloud and network technologies, including M365, Azure, Exchange Online, and an understanding of TCP/IP, routing, and switching

·       Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Business Central

·       Knowledge of multiple desktop programs, configuration, and debugging techniques.

·       The ability to prioritize with a sense of urgency and a commitment to the timely completion of projects. Attention to detail along with a commitment to quality and confidentiality.

·       Understanding of applicable laws, codes, and regulations related to IT operations and ability to assess and mitigate technology risks to protect the organization's data and infrastructure.

·       Technology awareness & ability to evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements that align with the company's goals.

·       Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve complex IT challenges.

·       Computer literate & Proficiency in Microsoft office and good at oral and written communication skills for reporting requirements.

·       Good interpersonal & communication skills to effectively interact with people at all levels and to work cross-functionally. Proven ability to manage and lead IT teams effectively.

·       A team player who is disciplined, independent, self-starter with the ability to work independently with minimum supervision.

·       Required language(s): English and Bahasa Malaysia (Mandarin is optional for support China Staff).
