We are looking for a detail-oriented Retail Sales Analyst to support our Retail Sales unit in handling data analysis, reconciliation, and reporting activities related to volume pricing discrepancies. This is a contract role with an initial duration of 3 months and the possibility of a further 3-month extension based on performance and business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up manual Excel templates to calculate recovery amounts based on volume data from the ELITECH vendor.
- Analyze pricing differences between RM1.99 and RM2.50 (assumed pump price) across retail stations.
- Advise MSSC (Malaysia Shared Services Centre) on the correct debit note amount per station.
- Coordinate with vendors to determine data availability and frequency for reporting purposes.
- Perform validation checks and ensure data accuracy and consistency.
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Diploma or early professional experience in Accounting or Finance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (intermediate to advanced level).
- Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and good communication skills.
- Ability to manage timelines and work independently.
