Job Description
  1. Responsible for ongoing purchasing and sourcing activities
  2. Perform suppliers sourcing, selection and vendor management
  3. Initiate and identify cost savings opportunities and projects, support for all sourcing activities for all direct and indirect parts and services
  4. Implement sourcing plans with the goal of assuring specified quality, required delivery times and minimizing the total cost
  5. Continuous involvement in the Supplier Selection Process to develop a supply base that provides a competitive advantage in quality, value/cost and delivery.
  6. Monitor and track suppliers' performance ensure on-time delivery and meet quality standards
  7. Deal with suppliers on quality issues, products replacement, sample request and pricing

Job Requirements

  1. Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma in Food Science, Food Technology or equivalent.
  2. At least 3 year(s) of working experience in sourcing and general procurement activities.
  3. Possess good understanding of suppliers landscapes, integrity, independent, resourceful and can drive and engage stakeholders with minimal supervision.
  4. Comfortable in a fast-paced environment, highly adaptable and able to manage workload based on changing priorities.
  5. Excellent analytical, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
  6. Effective negotiation and follow-up skills.
  7. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and experience in ERP system (Oracle) preferred.
