Requirement:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 15-20 years of experience in maintenance and engineering, with at least 5 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
  • Experience in the palm oil or related manufacturing industry is highly desirable.
  • In-depth knowledge of maintenance systems, equipment, and engineering principles in a refinery or industrial plant setting.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and other engineering software.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Familiarity with automation, control systems, and reliability engineering practices

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the maintenance and engineering teams to ensure high operational performance.
  • Develop and implement maintenance strategies, policies, and procedures.
  • Train, motivate, and develop the team to improve skills and knowledge.
  • Plan, organize, and prioritize scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks.
  • Develop and manage the preventive maintenance program to minimize breakdowns and increase equipment lifespan.
  • Provide engineering support for process improvement and plant optimization.
  • Collaborate with the operations and production teams to design and implement modifications to enhance refinery operations.
  • Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring equipment failures and develop corrective actions.
  • Conduct regular safety audits, risk assessments, and safety meetings.
  • Prepare and manage the maintenance and engineering department budget.
  • Ensure optimal performance and lifespan of critical equipment and machinery.
  • Manage equipment failure analysis and implement corrective actions to reduce downtime.
  • Continuously assess plant performance and implement improvements to increase operational efficiency.
