About the role

We are seeking a talented Junior Electrical Engineer/ Assistant Engineer to join our dynamic team at Multimac Engineering Sdn. Bhd. in Miri, Sarawak. This is a yearly renewable contract position with 3 months probation required. In this role, you will be responsible the development, and maintenance of electrical and electronic systems that are critical to our operations.

What you'll be doing

  1. Designing, testing, and implementing electrical and electronic systems and components
  2. Analyzing electrical and electronic systems to identify and address any issues or inefficiencies
  3. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical and electronic systems
  4. Developing and optimizing electrical and electronic system specifications and protocols
  5. Providing technical support and troubleshooting to resolve any electrical or electronic issues
  6. Ensuring compliance with relevant electrical and electronic engineering standards and regulations

What we're looking for

  1. Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Engineering (Electrical & Electronics) or equivalent.
  2. Minimum 1 to 2 years of experience in the design, development, and maintenance of electrical and electronic systems
  3. Willing to relocate and travel around different rural areas within Sarawak.
  4. Basic knowledge on electrical and electronic engineering principles, design techniques, and software tools
