  1. Correspond with shipper/customer for new inquiry/booking. Ensure customers' bookings are processed & reply in a timely and accurate manner.

  2. Arranging and monitoring for booking space/container with liner/co-loader and providing booking confirmation to the customer.

  3. Liaise with supplier/vendor:


• Shipping line


• Customs broker


• Forwarding agent (in-house)


• Haulier (in-house)

  1. Monitor & Maintain Weekly Vessel Schedule. To check the cut off / closing time for every shipment with Port.

  2. Furnish Monthly quoted quotation by superior to customer under custody.

  3. Monitor the overall planning of shipment from placing new booking until container gate in to port.


• place new booking


• provide booking to shipper, forwarding and warehouse (if necessary)


• plan and discuss with Ops for container delivery arrangement


• ensure custom clearance in time

  1. Coordinate and monitor with the customer/shipper for cargo and container movement.


• check cargo readiness before shipment


• check for container loading status

  1. Monitor and prepare the shipping documents on behalf of the shipper / customer.


• Invoice, Packing List for customs declaration


• Delivery Order, Authorization Letter, Bill of Ladings, etc


• Shipping Instruction

  1. Assist and monitor shipper / customer to apply for shipment related documents.


• Certificate of origin/Form E.


• Phyto / Fumigation / Insurance (if any)

  1. Check and provide invoices and charges to customers after shipment and on a timely manner. Ensure no additional cost (example: Storage, Demurrage, Removal & Detention). To ensure the correct quotation applied for each billing job.

  2. To ensure invoices are issued within the same month and meet the deadline of the month–end closing date.

  3. Assist customer to resolve query / issue / complaints / container damage claim arising from shipment.

  4. To track closely the shipment status (should there is any delay on the vessel departure date and/or changes on vessel's details) and keep the clients informed and other parties, including the sales team, custom clearance team, and the operation team.

  5. Ensure no gaps and all processes are always ahead of time.

  6. All other ad-hoc work instructions from the Immediate Superior.
