What you'll be doing?

  • Assist in all day-to-day functions of the Strategic Communications Department.
  • Design illustrations for communications materials including newsletter, website, social media, media kit; etc.
  • Prepare proposals, presentations and reports
  • Execute daily communications activities including staff engagement, event management, print and other media as well as CSR.
  • Implement effective media communications and public relations initiatives to support the Company's communications strategies.
  • To coordinate and manage the production of marketing and branding materials
  • To monitor, track and recommend on emerging issues in the media affecting the Company's public standing.
  • Analyze media coverage effectiveness.
  • Able to shoot and edit photos and videos for SCD's archives.

Who are we looking for?

  • Hold a degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Motion Graphics, or a related field, demonstrating your commitment to the craft.
  • Proven experience: Bring 2-3 years of professional graphic design expertise, preferably from an agency or corporate setting, to elevate our client's projects.
  • Software proficiency: Excel in industry-standard design tools like Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects).
  • Creative thinker: Possess the ability to transform abstract concepts into visually compelling designs that resonate with target audiences.
  • Keen eye for detail: Demonstrate a meticulous approach to layout, typography, and color composition, ensuring polished final products.
  • Adaptable multitasker: Thrive in a fast-paced environment, efficiently managing multiple projects and meeting tight deadlines.
  • Effective communicator: Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams and client stakeholders, articulating design concepts clearly.
  • Multilingual proficiency: Communicate effectively in Bahasa Melayu & English to facilitate smooth interactions with diverse clients and team members.
  • Preferably able to start work immediately
