1.Site Alignment with LSS Department:


•Work closely with Industrial Engineer Principal Engineer, Lean Six Sigma team & management team to introduce and sustain good measurement culture. To ensure alignment and support company business plans.


•Advice and provide strategic direction for IE project selection, integration of resources and prioritization.


•Monitor and continuously improve the site measurement culture initiative, related to productivity and quality of operations.


•Identify innovative ways to reduce cost by streamlining processes and systems.

2.Building a good measurement culture:


•Collaborate with process owners to drive measurement improvement projects throughout the plant to meet business and customer priorities.


•Deliver significant operational improvement and customer experience and financial benefit.


•Facilitate adoption of Lean Six Sigma methodologies/frameworks and check effectiveness of good measurement culture at shop floor, reviews & closure status of non-conformances from reviews & audits, root cause analysis, implementation of corrective & preventive actions, What If situations.


•Lead and participate in IE related project management reviews & provide independent assessment of project's quality related performance.


•Train and coach process owners in the use of measurement improvement tools.


•Work with Head of Departments for selection of suitable measurement improvement and developed to deliver significant results to narrow down the unit measurement gap.


•Track sites key continuous improvement metrics and achievement of KPI.

3.Ensure Program and Cultural Sustainability:


•Anticipate and meet/exceed customer expectations by solving problems or provide possible solutions quickly and effectively.

  • Define and standardize MTM (Methods-time measurement) for manufacturing processes.
  • Define and standardize machine Cycle Time (CT) measurement method.
  • Define and standardize machine Capacity and Headcount requirement.
  • As Subject Matter Expert for Ergonomic standards and requirement. Supports ergonomic improvements in cooperation with site EHS advisor.
  • Participate in VSM workshop to support and coach VSM team on IE related topic.
  • Drive on-going advancement in Lean Six Sigma culture together with the Lean Six Sigma team members.
  • Analyze and evaluate existing systems and processes, identifying value-added and non-value-added activities to optimize operation efficiency.
  • Conceive, design, test, and develop innovative solutions based on analysis and organizational objectives.
  • Evaluate and explore new layouts, process flow, material flow, methods, line balancing, headcount optimization in operation and support function.
  • Conduct training for employees on industrial engineering concept and standards.
  • Identify opportunities to prevent waste and inefficiency in operation and support functions
  • Develop and design robust manufacturing concepts to simplify/improve manufacturing processes, building pilot runs, evaluating performance, identifying issues, and making improvements
  • Create and maintain required documentation, including capacity and utilization studies, time and motion studies, standard work, cycle time analysis, line balancing and all others IE related documentations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to complete given tasks
