Project : Large Scale Solar (Mechanical / Electrical)

Job Descriptions:

  • Liaison with customers, consultant, sub-contractor, supervisor/coordinators and to feedback the progress to superiors.
  • To monitor the work program regularly to ensure timely completion and to report any delays or obstructions encountered to superiors.
  • To monitor the cost closely in accordance with the budgeted cost and to minimize wastage of materials.
  • To attend all meetings and to visit site as and when required.
  • Maintains project schedule by monitoring project progress, coordinating activities and resolving problems.
  • To troubleshoot on issues arising at project sites.
  • Control project plan by reviewing design, specifications, plan and schedule charges, recommending actions.
  • Prepare project status reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends, recommending actions.
  • To identify all variations ordered by customer and to feedback to Project Manager for further instructions.
  • Able to multitask in managing different project sites at similar timelines.
  • Perform all other duties and tasks as assigned from time to time.
  • Ensure that engineering design, procurement, construction and project completion is done in compliance with the project contract requirements, project schedule, cost, HSE and company standards and procedures.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's in Engineering or relevant field.
  • Min 2 - 3 years experience working in solar industry / construction required.
  • Project management and supervision skills.
  • Decision making ability and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work with multiple discipline projects.
  • Time management and organization skills.
  • Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards.
