Job Summary

We're looking for a dynamic and experienced Principal Consultant (Finance / Financial System) to join Hypernix Sdn Bhd, a fast-growing digital transformation company driven by innovation and teamwork. In this role, you'll take the lead in driving end-to-end ERP finance implementations, guiding both clients and consultants to deliver impactful, high-quality solutions. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the solution design and implementation of finance modules and related business processes.
  • Partner with business users to analyze requirements, map processes, and translate them into system solutions.
  • Oversee end-to-end project lifecycle — from requirements gathering, functional design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support.
  • Drive continuous improvements and enhancements across finance systems and integrations.
  • Manage last-minute change requests, ensuring minimal disruption to project timelines and deliverables.
  • Provide expert guidance on finance best practices, system capabilities, and process optimization.
  • Act as a bridge between business and technical teams, ensuring solutions are aligned with strategic objectives.
  • Lead and mentor a team of functional consultants (where applicable).
  • Prepare and review functional documentation, test scripts, and training materials.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
  • Professional Accounting Qualification (ACCA / CPA / CIMA / ICAEW / MIA) is mandatory.
  • Minimum 8–10 years of experience in ERP implementation (preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, SAP, or Oracle NetSuite).
  • Proven track record in leading end-to-end finance solution implementations.
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills — capable of guiding, not blaming.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to manage difficult clients tactfully.
  • Highly analytical with a strong understanding of financial processes, reporting, and compliance.
  • Team-oriented, empathetic, and committed to driving excellence through collaboration
  • Fully onsite role based in Bukit Damansara, Kuala Lumpur.
