Job Purpose

The Marketing Officer is responsible for planning, creating, and executing effective marketing and communication initiatives for Klinik Penawar Ampangan. This role ensures consistent brand visibility through digital content, campaigns, and corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities while supporting the clinic's overall promotional strategy. The position also involves managing social media platforms, designing creative materials, coordinating events, and assisting with administrative and operational marketing functions.

Authority

  1. Manage all marketing communications and promotional content across digital platforms.
  2. Approve and schedule daily postings and advertisements on social media.
  3. Liaise and coordinate with external vendors, suppliers, and advertising agencies (e.g., Jumix Sdn. Bhd.).
  4. Represent the Marketing Department in meetings related to campaigns, partnerships, and creative projects.
  5. Handle purchasing and ordering of marketing materials, decorations, and event items with prior approval from Management.
  6. Provide creative direction and campaign proposals for management approval.
  7. Oversee the setup, content, and maintenance of the clinic's digital and physical marketing assets (signage, billboards, website, etc.)

Key Responsibilities

1. Digital Marketing & Social Media Management

  • Develop and post daily content across platforms (Facebook, Telegram, TikTok) including campaign posters, doctor schedules, and health-related content.
  • Plan, write scripts, record, and edit short-form videos for TikTok and other social media channels using CapCut.
  • Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and Google Reviews in a professional manner.
  • Conduct trend analysis and develop creative concepts to increase online engagement.
  • Collaborate with the web developer (Jumix Sdn. Bhd.) for updates and website improvements.
  • Prepare and present social media performance and campaign reports to management.
  • Maintain the clinic's Google Calendar and update all marketing task schedules.

2. Graphic Design & Content Creation

  • Design marketing materials such as posters, banners, stickers, signboards, and business cards using Canva and Adobe.
  • Edit and refresh visual content for campaigns, festive greetings, CSR programs, and clinic events.
  • Produce and manage internal materials including charts, slides, and organizational visuals for meetings and presentations.
  • Develop creative visual materials for events such as Townhall, CSR, and health awareness campaigns.
  • Coordinate with suppliers for printing, production, and installation of physical marketing assets (billboards, signage, posters).

3. Campaign & Event Coordination

  • Plan and execute marketing campaigns, including community CSR programs and clinic promotions.
  • Prepare campaign proposals, slides, and reports for management review.
  • Coordinate logistics and decorations for clinic campaigns, festive seasons, and promotional events.
  • Liaise with hotels and vendors for off-site campaigns and collaborations.
  • Assist during events such as Kempen Rahmah Jumaat Bersama Penawar, ensuring photo and video documentation.
  • Prepare and distribute campaign materials such as flyers, gifts, and lucky draw items.

4. Data Management & Communication

  • Compile and manage customer contact databases using Microsoft Excel for promotional and WhatsApp Blasting activities.
  • Send out reminder messages, promotional offers, and festive greetings to customers via WhatsApp Blasting.
  • Maintain an organized filing system (physical and digital) for invoices, receipts, and marketing documents.
  • Update and maintain the WannaScan application and customer redemption records.
  • Prepare reports summarizing marketing activities, expenditures, and campaign results for management.

5. Branding & Corporate Communication

  • Ensure consistent clinic branding across all marketing materials and platforms.
  • Design and update visual identity elements such as logos, uniforms, and signage.
  • Draft, edit, and publish official communications including press materials, festive greetings, and awareness messages.
  • Support internal communication materials for HR and management initiatives.
  • Produce and edit e-books, health articles, and educational content as assigned.

6. Administrative & Support Duties

  • Assist the Managing Director and management team in preparing presentations, meeting materials, and proposals.
  • Handle procurement and restocking of marketing supplies, decorations, and tools.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of marketing studio, equipment, and storage area.
  • Check and maintain marketing equipment such as microphones, tripods, cameras, and stands.
  • Attend training sessions, HR learning modules, and marketing development programs.
  • Support other departments (Finance, HR, Operations) when required for documentation, event setup, or campaign support.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Graphic Design, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in marketing, social media management, or digital content creation.
  • Skilled in Canva, Adobe, CapCut, and ChatGPT for design and content creation.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams) and Google Calendar for scheduling and reporting.
  • Experienced with OneDrive, WannaScan, and website management platforms (e.g., Jumix) for digital organization.
  • Knowledge of marketing analytics tools and digital communication platforms.
  • Strong creativity and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and writing abilities.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines
