POSITION SUMMARY:
The Head of HR for East Asia will lead the strategic and operational HR agenda across multiple countries in the region, including SEA (Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore), Japan and Greater China (Hong Kong, Taiwan). This role will work closely with East Asia leadership team and be responsible for aligning HR strategies with business goals, driving cultural transformation, and ensuring compliance with local labor laws and global HR standards.

DIMENSIONS OF ROLE:
As the HR Director, your role is to align HR strategies with business goals while fostering a culture of excellence and CARE. Responsibilities include strategic HR consultation, talent management, employee relations, performance management, organizational development, HR policy compliance, and recruitment management. Your leadership will shape the company's success by ensuring HR practices support organizational objectives effectively.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 10+ years of HR leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a regional or international role.
  • Proven experience in managing cross-cultural teams and navigating complex regulatory environments.
  • In-depth knowledge of HR principles, practices, and local employment regulations in countries within the region.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills to build trust and collaboration at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive strategic HR initiatives while balancing operational excellence.
  • High degree of resilience and adaptability in fast-paced, complex environments.
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems, HR software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across the region to support properties and new openings.
  • Fluent in English; additional Asian languages are a plus.
