Roles & Responsibilities

Overview of the SD Guthrie Berhad Cadet Engineer Programme

We are offering an opportunity for growth and career advancement within the company to graduates with passion and inclination to work in the plantation industry.

Join our one-year intensive programme at Golden Hope Academy (GHA) in Carey Island, with an on-the-job training at various locations within our Upstream Malaysia operations.

Upon completion of the programme, candidates who satisfactorily fulfill the assessment criteria will be employed under SD Guthrie Berhad or its subsidiaries.

Ideal Candidate

  • Degree holder with a CGPA of 3.00 and above (or equivalent) in Mechanical / Electrical & Electronic / Mechatronic Engineering, or other relevant engineering discipline
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
  • A valid motorcycle license (preferred)
  • Possess good leadership skills and good command of English language
  • Applicants must be willing to be posted in a mill environment
  • Placement based on vacancies in Mill operations across Malaysia
