Key Responsibilities

*Project Planning & Coordination

*Review site requirements based on scope of work and service capacity.

*Assign team and ensure readiness of work permit and installation design.

*Submit detailed worker name lists for work permit application (site survey, installation, testing, migration).

*Prepare internal memo, PO forecast, and project cost estimates (e.g., test gear rental, travelling cost, staff advance).

*Ensure surveyor fills and submits installation scope of work checklist and survey summary within 24 hours.

Plan schedules and allocate resources for DWDM deployments.

*Strategically plan team movements and transportation to optimise cost and deployment efficiency.

*Coordinate with internal team and subcontractors to finalise the survey, installation, testing, and migration schedule, ensuring deadlines are met.

*Apply for project permissions annually for each/new installer.

*Officially request task assignments for team leaders for each site prior to site works.

*Attend monthly compliance meetings and online trainings related to project execution.

*Oversee installation teams across Peninsular Malaysia and Sarawak.

*Issue authorization letters to transporters, subcontractors, or in-house teams to collect material from the warehouse.

Documentation & Reporting

*Extract PO details and update tracker accordingly.

*Assign responsible personnel to compile and upload technical documents to online storage (Google Drive).

*Track, follow up, and lead the preparation and submission of technical documentation for client submission (Technical Site Survey Report, As-Built Report, Acceptance Test Protocol Report).

*Serve as Document Controller and Project Admin for workload submissions to the system for billing purposes.

*Provide regular progress updates, address issues, and ensure alignment across stakeholders.

Resource, Test Gear & Cost Management

*Remotely monitor DWDM link testing and installation progress.

*Monitor and track utilization of 10G and 100G test gear.

*Monitor project costs, resource usage, and ensure delivery within approved project margins.

Team Management

*Resolve project issues related to scheduling, logistics, manpower, and on-site deployment.

*Support team morale through regular check-ins and workload adjustments.

*Serve as the primary liaison between subcontractors and internal teams.

Finance and Billing Coordination

*Prepare deployment sheets/work orders with subcontractor details, PO number, work scope, and subcontractor price rates for Finance to facilitate PO issuance.

*Calculate margin, profit, and loss for transportation and engineering services.

*Check and verify Purchase Orders (POs) to ensure they tally with project work requirements.

*Ensure PO availability before work starts and track PO issuance.

*Verify and sign invoices from transporters, panels, suppliers, and claims from staff.

Request quotations, DOs, and invoices from test gear suppliers.

*Check and ensure transporter quotations align with requested rates and budget margins.

*Coordinate with Finance for payment follow-ups, PO processing, and cheque release to suppliers, subcontractors, and transporters.

*Respond to subcontractors and transporters on any outstanding financial matters.

*Guide new subcontractors and handle their inquiries on invoicing.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: RM3, RM6,000.00 per month
