Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary HRBP for designated business units, building strong relationships with managers and employees.
  • Lead and manage Industrial Relations (IR) matters including disciplinary cases, grievances, performance management, and investigations, ensuring fair and consistent practices.
  • Provide expert advice on employment laws, HR policies, and best practices to management and employees.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives and act as a mediator to resolve workplace conflicts.
  • Draft, review, and translate HR documentation (e.g., policies, contracts, notices) in both English and Japanese where required.
  • Partner with leadership to drive organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, and talent management.
  • Collaborate with HR Centres of Excellence (e.g., Talent Acquisition, Compensation & Benefits, Learning & Development) to deliver integrated HR solutions.
  • Monitor HR metrics, generate reports, and provide insights to support decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws, company policies, and collective agreements.
  • Managing non-confirmation cases, PIPs, and disciplinary actions
  • Conducting employee grievance handling, counselling, and wellness interventions
  • Preparing show cause letters, warning letters, and assisting in Domestic Inquiry (DI) processes
  • Supporting employee engagement programs and HR policy implementation in collaboration with HRBP and IR team
  • Exposure to Malaysian Employment Act compliance and experience working in BPO or large-scale operations will be an added advantage.

Requirements:

  • Education: Diploma and above
  • Fluency in Japanese and English (written and spoken) is required.
  • Candidates with Industrial Relations /HR operations knowledge or experience.
  • Sound knowledge of local employment laws and regulations will be an added advantage.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM6, RM10,000.00 per month
