IT Service Desk Analyst – Level 2
Location: Kuala Lumpur
Contract Duration: 6 months
Working Hours: 24/7 coverage (8 hours per shift, 1-hour break)
Working Days: Rotational, as scheduled by team leader (5 working days followed by 2 days off)
Overview
The IT Service Desk Analyst delivers first- and second-level IT support to employees organization-wide, operating around the clock. Support is provided in alignment with Asia Pacific time zone hours.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employees requiring IT support during Asia Pacific working hours.
- Provide support for IT services and products (software and hardware) via phone, email, and remote desktop.
- Proactively identify and resolve issues related to IT services or solutions.
- Coordinate with global IT teams to communicate changes or implementations that may impact business operations or service delivery.
- Follow up with users to ensure issues are fully resolved.
- Offer guidance and training to enable self-service whenever possible.
- Maintain, update, and enhance ITSM and CMDB system records as needed.
- Adhere to a team schedule that includes weekend and public holiday rotations, working independently with minimal supervision.
- Actively participate in health, safety, and environmental programs, including safety observations and training sessions.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or equivalent experience and training
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a help desk or call center environment
- At least 3 years' experience with MS Office Suite and MS Windows operating systems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Skilled in diagnosing end-user computing issues and documenting them in a CMDB and/or ITSM system
- Ability to follow written procedures and adhere to security protocols
- Customer-service oriented with experience handling challenging situations
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for IT issues
- Good & fluent English communication
- Over 3 years' relevant experience in an IT environment (Preferred)
- Proficiency in Mandarin (Preferred)
- ITIL Foundation Certification (Preferred)
- Experience with ServiceNow or comparable IT workflow management systems (Preferred)
Job Type: Contract

Pay: RM3, RM5,000.00 per month
