WFH Remote Content Creator: Primary School English Reading Comprehension (Part-time/Full-time Contractor)

Are you fluent in English, passionate about children's education, and meticulous about details? We're a Sydney-based EdTech company seeking Remote Content Creators. You'll be vital in consistently creating engaging primary school English reading materials for our innovative online learning system.

What You'll Do:
  • Create Reading Comprehension Materials: Develop daily English reading passages, poetry, and cloze passages for students in Years 1-6, including accompanying exercises etc.
  • Ensure Content Quality: Strictly follow content standards and templates, ensuring all materials are clear, accurate, and grammatically correct.
  • Maintain Consistent Output: Reliably and consistently complete daily content creation tasks.
  • Perform other duties related to Primary English content creation as needed.

What We're Looking For:
  • Education: A university degree or diploma in English, Literature, Linguistics, Creative Writing, or a related field demonstrating strong written communication skills. Recent graduates and experienced professionals are welcome. Relevant experience in primary education or content creation is a strong asset.
  • Excellent English Skills: Strong written English, with a solid grasp of grammar, spelling, and structure etc.

  • Writing & Literary Acumen:

  • Ability to write clear, concise, and engaging content suitable for primary school children.

  • Understanding of primary school level essay structures (e.g., thesis statements, topic sentences, and paragraph content).
  • Interest in and familiarity with current affairs and primary level literature (including understanding of genres).
  • Knowledge of Western poetry (e.g., "Hope is the Thing with Feathers" by Emily Dickinson) is a plus.
  • Responsible & Detail-Oriented: Highly self-disciplined, reliable, and detail-focused; able to work independently remotely and deliver high-quality content on time.
  • Passion for Education: A genuine enthusiasm for contributing to young students' learning journeys.

Work Status & Compensation:
  • This is a REMOTE contractor position. You could work from anywhere.
  • We offer part-time and full-time options (full-time is approx. 40 hours/week). Please state your preference in your application.
  • A competitive monthly flat fee is offered, commensurate with experience and skill.
  • As an independent contractor, you'll be responsible for your local taxes, social security contributions, and benefits.
