Job Responsibilities

1. Agronomy & Technical Support (Regional Coverage)

  • Provide agronomic and technical advice on fertilizer and chemical products to customers and sales teams.
  • Interpret soil and water analyses, identify turf issues, and design tailored nutrition plans.
  • Conduct field trials and new product evaluations in collaboration with key customers.
  • Support grass type selection, disease diagnosis, and pest management programs.
  • Deliver product and technical training to internal teams.
  • Coordinate product import and registration processes with local regulatory teams.

2. Key Account Management (Malaysia & Singapore)

  • Partner with sales teams to manage key turf and golf course accounts.
  • Develop and oversee nutrition programs, bulk order coordination, and new product introductions.
  • Conduct quarterly site visits and agronomic reviews to maintain long-term customer partnerships.
  • Focuses on providing strategic technical support rather than day-to-day order taking — adding value through agronomic insight, innovation, and customer partnership.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science Degree or Diploma in Agronomy, Turfgrass Management, Sports Turf Science and Management or related technical field.
  • Former Golf Course Superintendent or qualified Agronomist with 3–5 years of experience in Southeast Asia.
  • Strong understanding of turfgrass science, fertilizer and chemical applications, and soil-water relationships.
  • Credible, personable, and able to train, coach, and influence both internal teams and customers.
  • Based in Malaysia, with willingness to travel frequently within the region.
  • Proficient in English; additional regional languages are an advantage.
  • Commercially driven with a strong sense of customer service and relationship-building.
