Senior Executive, Group Finance

About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Executive, Group Finance to join our dynamic team at APM CORPORATE SERVICES SDN BHD in Port Klang, Selangor. As a fulltime member of our Group Finance department, you will play a crucial role in supporting the overall financial operations and reporting for the group.

What you'll be doing

• Prepare monthly management account of group finance corporate services subsidiary, investment properties and other dormants (collectively referred to as "GFA-Companies')

• Liaise with auditors for year-end audit of accounts of GFA-Companies

• Review/prepare all necessary schedules for auditors;

• Verify inter-co balances and transaction;
• Review/prepare GFA-Companies budget and ensure close monitoring that these companies are able to operate within the set budgets.
• Manage customer/vendor relationship in matters pertaining to billing and payment.
• Review, streamline and implement the Group's processes, procedures and systems in GFA-Companies.
• Liaise with banks, regulatory authorities and government legislation bodies.
• Any others projects and/or task as assigned by management.

What we're looking for

• Possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or an equivalent qualification recognized by MIA.
• Candidates with professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or equivalent are preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in financial accounting and reporting, preferably in a similar role or industry
• Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles, standards and best practices
• Excellent data analysis and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Proficient in the use of financial software and Microsoft Office applications
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
