About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Senior Associate, Business Continuity Management (BCM) to join our Risk Management Department. This role plays a key part in strengthening the organization's resilience by developing, implementing, and maintaining effective Business Continuity (BCM) and Disaster Recovery (DR) strategies and plans.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and communication skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to collaborate across departments to ensure operational readiness in the face of potential disruptions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Senior Manager, BCM in designing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive BCM and DR frameworks.
  • Conduct risk assessments and business impact analyses (BIA) to identify critical business functions and vulnerabilities.
  • Plan and facilitate BCM and DR training, testing, and simulation exercises across departments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate continuity and recovery plans into daily operations.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of BCM and DR programs, recommending improvements where necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
  • Support incident response and crisis management activities when required.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation for BCM and DR policies, procedures, and reports.
  • Provide guidance and assistance to stakeholders on all BCM and DR-related matters.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Risk Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, or Risk Management.
  • Certifications such as CBCP (Certified Business Continuity Professional) or MBCI (Member of the Business Continuity Institute) are highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of BCM and DR principles, frameworks, and best practices.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio), SharePoint, and risk management systems.
  • Experience with BCM/DR software tools is an advantage.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and perform under pressure.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM5, RM7,500.00 per month
