The Training Manager is responsible for providing effective training to the team especially Cashier. The Training Manager will play a crucial role in fostering a positive working environment and supporting the growth and development of the team.

DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES


• Develop, identifies and reviews training programs aligned to company's overall strategy and direction.


• Handle employee onboarding and orientation programs


• Develop training materials and review materials.


• Develop and implement a method of measuring the effectiveness of the training programs and training program conducted.


• Conducts training needs analysis to identify and determine training needs.


• Conducts soft skills training that is relevant to the company operations.


• Oversees all training programs and equips staff with the knowledge, motivation and practical skills to carry out work-related tasks.


• Prepare and arrange product training with the supplier and training provider to be attended by relevant staff.


• Provide annual recertification training schedule and provide monthly updates of training completion progress.


• Works with all department head and store managers on On-Job Training matters.


• Manage and maintain in-house training facilities and equipment.

QUALIFICATIONS


• At least a Diploma in Training & Assessment, Human Resource, Business or equivalent.


• At least 5 years' experience in Training or a similar capacity.


• Good experience in delivery of training, ability to coach with a strong sense of detail and focus on customer services.


• Proficient in Microsoft Office (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook).


• Good interpersonal, facilitation, communication and presentation skills.


• Strong leadership and people management skills.


• Able to work independently or as a team.


• Open for Malaysian only and this position is based at Headquarters in Kuching, Sarawak.
