JOB DESCRIPTION

POSITION TITLE: SALES & MARKETING MANAGER

OVERVIEW

The Sales & Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing integrated sales and marketing strategies to enhance product visibility, strengthen brand presence, and drive business growth. This role combines strategic planning, market analysis, brand management, and team leadership to achieve both short-term sales targets and long-term brand positioning objectives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

A. Strategic Planning

  • Develop and implement an annual Sales & Marketing Plan aligned with company objectives.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify trends, competitors, and customer needs.
  • Lead product positioning and pricing strategies to maintain competitiveness.
  • Coordinate cross-functional alignment between sales, marketing, and operations.

B. Marketing Management

  • Strengthen brand awareness through both digital and traditional marketing channels.
  • Plan and manage marketing campaigns, promotions, and events to support product sales.
  • Oversee social media, website, and content strategy for consistent brand messaging.
  • Monitor marketing ROI and recommend improvements based on campaign analytics.

C. Sales Management

  • Lead, coach, and monitor the sales team to achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
  • Identify new market segments, partnerships, and sales opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key clients, distributors, and partners.
  • Ensure the CRM system/sales reports are accurate and updated.
  • Manage sales forecasting, budgeting, and performance tracking.

D. Team Leadership & Collaboration

  • Supervise and guide sales executives and coordinators in day-to-day operations.
  • Conduct sales and product training for internal teams.
  • Collaborate with other departments (Finance, Operations, Product) for seamless execution.
  • Promote a high-performance, customer-oriented culture within the team.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sales and/or marketing, preferably in Agriculture industry.
  • Proven experience leading a sales team and managing marketing campaigns.
  • Strong understanding of market research, branding, and digital marketing tools.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills.
  • Proficient in CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and social media analytics.
