Food Stall Assistant / Kitchen Crew (Curry Mee)

Location: Taman Yulek, Cheras, Kuala Lumpur (onsite, food court)

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Schedule: Morning shift, 6 days/week (6:00am–2:30pm)

Start Date: Early December 2025

Food Stall: No pork, no lard food stall

About Us

We're launching a specialty Curry Mee stall in Taman Yulek with a rich, thick broth and fast, friendly service. We're growing quickly (multiple stalls planned in 2026), so this is a great place to learn solid SOPs and grow into a Stall Lead role.

What You'll Do

  • Prep & Cooking: Portion noodles, assemble bowls, maintain hot broth, handle toppings (tofu puffs, fish cake, chicken).
  • Service & POS: Take and record orders, pack delivery orders (GrabFood/Foodpanda/ShopeeFood).
  • Hygiene & Safety: Follow Food Handler SOPs, wear gloves/hat/apron, sanitize stations, manage FIFO labeling.
  • Opening/Closing: Setup mise-en-place, restock, clean down, basic equipment care.
  • Customer Care: Be friendly, efficient, and consistent.

What We're Looking For

  • Early riser: Comfortable with 6:00am start; reliable and punctual.
  • Hygiene-minded: Food Handler Certificate & Typhoid vaccination (or willing to obtain—company supports).
  • Hands-on F&B mindset: Hawker/food stall experience is a plus; training provided.
  • Team player: Positive attitude, can stand long hours, lift up to ~10–15 kg occasionally.
  • Languages: Basic English/Malay (Mandarin/Cantonese is a plus).
  • Right to work in Malaysia and able to commute to Taman Yulek, Cheras.
  • Malaysian Only
  • 1 year and above experience in food service is preferred. Entry Level candidates are welcome to apply.

Pay & Benefits

  • Salary: Up to RM 2500 /month.
  • Statutory contributions: Employer EPF (KWSP), SOCSO, EIS.
  • Performance & attendance bonus / OT where applicable.

  • Food Handler Training Certificate
  • Typhoid vaccination (validity 3 years)
