About the role

Aeronas Aerocraft Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Information Technology (IT) to lead our IT team and drive the implementation of innovative technology solutions. In this full-time, on-site role based in Senai, Johor, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company's IT infrastructure and systems, ensuring they are secure, efficient and aligned with the business' strategic goals.

What you'll be doing

1. IT Setup & Infrastructure (Security firewall)

  • Plan and establish the company's IT infrastructure, including servers, network systems, and security.
  • Configure routers, switches, firewalls, and access points to ensure stable connectivity.
  • Oversee installation of office network cabling and internet setup.

2. Hardware & Software Management

  • Configure, install, and maintain company laptops, desktops, and other devices.
  • Manage software installation, updates, licenses, and renewals.
  • Keep an updated inventory of all IT assets and equipment.

3. Access Control & Security

  • Set up and manage employee ID cards, door access systems, and CCTV monitoring.
  • Manage user accounts, passwords, and permissions for company systems.
  • Implement cybersecurity measures, including antivirus, firewalls, and backup solutions.

4. Network & Internet Management

  • Maintain and monitor LAN/WAN performance, ensuring reliable internet access.
  • Troubleshoot network issues and ensure minimal downtime.
  • Coordinate with internet service providers (ISPs) for setup, maintenance, and upgrades.

5. IT Support & Maintenance

  • Provide daily IT support for hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
  • Train staff on proper IT usage and safety practices.
  • Document system configurations and IT troubleshooting logs.

6. Data & Backup Management

  • Set up and manage data storage systems, backups, and recovery procedures.
  • Ensure data protection compliance and confidentiality of company information.

7. Vendor & System Coordination

  • Liaise with external vendors and suppliers for IT equipment, software, and services.
  • Evaluate and recommend technology improvements based on company needs.

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 3 years of experience in an IT management role, preferably in the Information & Communication Technology industry
  2. Strong background in network administration, system architecture, and IT security
  3. Excellent project management and problem-solving skills
  4. Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing IT teams
  5. In-depth understanding of cloud computing, data analytics, and emerging technologies
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  7. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
