The HSSE Technician is accountable for assisting the implementation of INEOS HSSE plan, audit program and maintaining HSSE records at site.
Reporting Line
The incumbent shall report directly to the HSSEQ Manager.
Accountabilities
Monitor and follow up STOP report in the e-STOP system and manual record.
Monitor and update weekly safety audit program including action closer record.
Maintain/upkeep the HSSE Points System database and produce monthly update to all staff on monthly basis.
Maintain and upkeep HSSE notice board at INEOSPA Plant, Admin and digital statistic board.
Maintain all HSSE records at site either in softcopy or hardcopy.
Monitor and keep inventory and maintenance records for all safety equipment.
Co-ordinate with CEFS Response on the repair and maintenance of the safety and lifesaving equipment.
Update and maintain all safety signs and posters in the plants.
Provide assistance for contractors safety briefing program.
Assist HSSEQ department for any safety and health program.
Lead weekly mass toolbox.
Assist the HSSE and relevant departments in conducting the accident investigations.
Business Skills & Behaviour
- Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health or equivalent.
- 3-5 years of experiences in HSSE field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft office (e.g word and excel).
- Good interpersonal, networking and organisation skills. Work effectively in a team environment and able to create respect and trust to develop relationships, particularly with peers and workforce.
- Demonstrate accountability, responsibilities, be a self-starter, fast learner and capable of working independently with minimum supervision.
