Job Purpose:

  • The incumbent main responsibilities are to oversee the full cycle recruitment including sourcing candidates through various channels, planning interview and selection procedures, hosting and participating in career events, manages the coordination and administrative process for pre- and post-employment of new hires.
  • The TA Specialist must be able to develop long-term recruiting strategies and nurture trusting relationships with potential hires and to create strong talent pipelines for our company's current and future hiring needs.
  • Secondary role for the TA Specialists may also include other duties related providing Human Resources support to employees, managers within a designated office or the HR team primarily in the areas of Employee Relations, Performance Management, Talent Acquisition, Benefits and Policy Administration and any other related tasks.
  • This position works with moderate level of supervision and utilizes knowledge, experience, and judgement to accomplish goals.

Job Scope:

  • Responsible for the full cycle recruitment activities including developing job specifications, sourcing and screening of the candidates and facilitating interview.
  • Work closely with TA Team Head to coordinate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and the selection criteria.
  • Source potential candidates through online channels (e.g. social platforms and professional networks).
  • Manages and update job postings in the company's Internal and external hiring portals.
  • Plan interview and selection procedures, including screening calls, assessments and in-person interviews.
  • Assess candidate information, including resumes and contact details, by building and maintaining the recruitment and headcount tracking report in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Work closely with stakeholders or hiring managers to prepare job descriptions and interview questions that reflect each position's requirements.
  • Foster long-term relationships with past applicants and potential candidates.
  • Initiate hiring process for new position or replacement position within stipulated timeframe.
  • Assists the TA Team Head on all recruitment related tasks.
  • Assists the HR Team to manage other HR related topics in areas relating to governance and policies, training, exits/dismissals, preparations of HR reports, involvement in HR related projects and other ad hoc tasks arranged by the Head of HR/TA Team Head.

Requirements:

  • Proven work experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist or similar role for 2-5 years.
  • Familiar in sourcing and screening for local and expat IT talents.
  • Familiarity with social media, resume databases and professional networks (e.g. LinkedIn, JobStreet).
  • Hands-on experience with full-cycle recruiting using various interview techniques and evaluation methods.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good command in Microsoft Office Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
  • A strong network and thrives on building connections.
  • An engaging and approachable personality.
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to drive recruitment initiatives.

Formal Education:

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's degree / Postgraduate / Diploma / Professional Diploma or Degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent working experience.
