Job Description

  • Cultivate strong relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and long-term engagement.
  • Drive the achievement of sales targets and strategic business goals set by the organization.
  • Identify new business opportunities within the solar and energy storage sectors and manage the sales pipeline effectively.
  • Analyze market trends and customer needs to promote strategic products that support client success.
  • Plan and execute marketing campaigns to enhance brand visibility and reputation within the target market.
  • Build and maintain a robust partner ecosystem to increase market share and improve partner satisfaction.

The Successful Applicant
A successful Business Development Manager (Solar & BESS solution) should have:

  • Solid understanding of electrical power systems and their applications, including utilities, renewable energy generation, and energy storage. Familiarity with solar inverters and the energy industry is a plus.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in technical sales within the solar energy sector; candidates with an EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) background are preferred.
  • Proven track record in selling Solar PV and Energy Storage System (ESS) solutions.
  • Proficient in solar design software such as PVSYST, PVSOL, and AUTOCAD.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with strong proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Holds a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Technology, Photovoltaics & Renewable Energy, or a related field.
  • Willingness to travel and adapt to various working environments.
