About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and hands-on Senior Process MOL (Wire Bond) Engineer to join our manufacturing team in Ipoh. The successful candidate will be responsible for sustaining, optimizing, and improving the Wire Bond process, driving production efficiency, and ensuring yield performance meets company KPIs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sustain and improve the Wire Bond Process through continuous optimization and troubleshooting.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret production and test data to prepare engineering reports for new and existing products.
  • Monitor and maintain assembly yield performance within KPI targets.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to reduce scrap and enhance efficiency.
  • Conduct evaluations of test/yield data and implement necessary adjustments to process equipment.
  • Program, troubleshoot, and maintain manufacturing equipment to achieve yield targets.
  • Support engineering projects involving solders, epoxies, and new equipment installations.
  • Develop and update Manufacturing Work Instructions, production routes, and Engineering Change Orders (ECOs).
  • Apply SPC, Risk Management, and FMEA methodologies to ensure process control and reliability.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electronics, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline.
  • Experience in high-mix, high-volume manufacturing environments is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in process engineering.
  • Proficient in SAS JMP, Minitab, and SPC tools for data analysis.
  • Hands-on experience in machine troubleshooting and process control improvement.
  • Ability to lead, supervise, and guide a team of process personnel.
  • Adaptable, flexible, and able to perform under changing business conditions.
  • Chinese speaking candidates are preferred due to operational communication needs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM6, RM9,000.00 per month
