Join a dynamic China-based automotive service company as the HR & Admin Manager, where you will play a key role in shaping HR strategy, driving organizational effectiveness, and supporting business expansion in Malaysia.

What You Will Do

As the HR & Admin Manager (Sole Contributor), you will lead and manage full-spectrum HR functions while ensuring smooth administrative operations:

1. HR Strategy & Operations

  • Develop and execute localized HR strategies aligned with company objectives.
  • Optimize HR processes across recruitment, C&B, performance management, employee relations, and more.

2. Recruitment & Talent Development

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment for key positions to support rapid business growth.
  • Design training, development, and promotion frameworks to build strong talent pipelines.

3. Employee Relations & Compliance

  • Handle complex employee relations issues with sound judgment.
  • Ensure full compliance with Malaysian labour laws, taxation, and statutory requirements.
  • Manage employment contracts, disciplinary actions, and dispute resolution.

4. Compensation & Benefits

  • Oversee salary structure optimization, benchmarking, and annual reviews.
  • Administer statutory contributions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS) accurately and timely.

5. Cross-Cultural Team Collaboration

  • Promote productive collaboration in a multicultural workforce (Chinese, Malay, Indian, etc.).
  • Drive company culture, communication, and employee engagement initiatives.

6. Office Administration

  • Manage office operations, administrative procurement, and daily corporate support tasks.

Requirements

We are looking for an experienced HR professional who can lead with confidence and strategy:

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related fields.
  • Minimum 5 years of comprehensive HR experience, with at least 2 years in an HR Manager or leadership role in Malaysia.
  • Strong, practical knowledge of Malaysian labour laws, taxation, compliance, and HR best practices.
  • Strategic mindset with hands-on execution capability.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, especially in sensitive HR matters.
  • Proficient in HRIS platforms (BrioHR, Employment Hero), MS Office, and online recruitment tools.
