REQUIREMENTS:

  • Preferably candidates with Civil/Mechanical Engineering background from recognized institutes or equivalent.
  • Able to communicate well in English and Malay (written and spoken)
  • 3 years and above working experience in related field, however fresh graduate is encourage to apply.
  • Familiar with design software and computer literate
  • Good interpersonal skills, presentation and project management.
  • Ability to work independently yet co-ordinates and teamwork seamlessly with subordinates.
  • Able to travel or relocate when needed.

JOB DESCRIPTIONS:

  • Act as the main technical adviser on a construction site for subcontractors, craftspeople and operatives.
  • Check plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations.
  • Ensure that all materials used and work performed are in accordance with the specifications.
  • Oversee the selection and requisition of materials.
  • Liaise with any consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project.
  • Communicate with clients and their representatives and Project Manager including attending regular meetings to keep them informed of progress.
  • Day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labour force and the work of any subcontractors
  • Prepare reports as required.
  • Resolve any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise.
