TotalEnergies EP Malaysia is seeking a dedicated and experienced
Senior Compliance Counsel*
to support and enhance our Compliance Program. This role is central to ensuring our operations meet internal standards, Malaysian regulations, and international compliance expectations.

Your Impact*
As the Senior Compliance Counsel, you will:

  • Develop, implement, and oversee compliance programs across TEPMY.
  • Conduct due diligence screenings and support anti-corruption audits.
  • Draft, review, and enhance compliance policies and frameworks.
  • Promote integrity awareness and lead conflict-of-interest declaration exercises.
  • Collaborate with internal departments and the Compliance HQ Team to assess risks and ensure effective reporting.
  • Monitor e-learning participation and compliance performance indicators.
  • Maintain secure archiving systems for due diligence documentation.
  • Provide expert advice on compliance directives and procedures.
  • Support the Compliance Officer in risk minimisation and audit facilitation.

*Profil du candidat
What We Are Looking For*

  • A Degree in Legal Studies or a related field from a recognised university.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in Compliance, Governance, or Ethics roles.
  • Strong command of written and spoken English.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of anti-corruption laws and international compliance standards.
