What you'll be doing?
  • Ensure Compliance: Ensure the plant operates in full compliance with all DOSH regulations and other applicable statutory requirements.
  • Manage Liaisons: Manage and liaise with DOSH and other relevant government agencies on licensing, inspection, and compliance matters.
  • Promote Responsible Practices: Promote responsible business practices encompassing Occupational Safety & Health (OSH) and Environmental Sustainability initiatives.
  • Conduct Audits: Conduct periodic audits and routine inspections of treatment systems and facilities, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and internal checklists.
  • Prepare Reports: Prepare and review performance monitoring reports in accordance with DOSH requirements and company policies.
  • Lead Improvement Programs: Lead and participate in continuous improvement programs and initiatives related to workplace safety, health, and environmental performance.
  • Compile Reports: Compile and present Monthly Safety and Environmental Reports to management.
  • Assist in OSH Programs: Assist the company and the Safety and Health Committee in planning, organizing, and implementing OSH programs and awareness campaigns.
  • Support Inspections: Support the company and the Safety and Health Committee in workplace inspections to assess the effectiveness and efficiency of safety measures.
  • Investigate Incidents: Investigate workplace accidents, incidents, and near-misses; prepare detailed reports and ensure timely submission to the relevant authorities.
  • Facilitate Trainings: Facilitate safety trainings, emergency drills, and awareness programs to strengthen safety culture across all departments.
Who are they looking for?
  • Educational Background: Degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
  • Certification: Certified Safety and Health Officer (SHO) with a valid Green Book from DOSH.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in EHS management, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills with the ability to promote and sustain a proactive safety culture.
  • Technical Proficiency: Competent in developing and implementing safety policies, training modules, and emergency response plans.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in MS Office and EHS management systems or reporting tools.
