1.  MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

a.    Monitor the organization's income, expenses and investments, evaluate financial reports including cash-flow statements. To cut costs and maximize profits, monitor economic and financial trends

b.    Perform data analysis and advise the CEO on profit-maximizing ideas

2. SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS

a.    Responsible for overall accounting activities relating to Mega Aerospace Centre Sdn Bhd (Collection/AR, cash flow management, payment requests/AP, banking (LC/BA) and billing)

b.    Responsible for monthly closing of accounts with relevant supporting schedules in an accurate and timely manner

c.     Monitor accrual reversal entries and ensure action or follow-up items are closed after month-end closing

d.    Prepare monthly management reports

e.    Prepare budget and latest estimates

f.     Monthly bank, creditors & intercompany reconciliations.

g.    Responsible for issuing all necessary JVs & processing JVs for approval

h.    Ensure all data entry and daily accounts recording functions are complete

i.      Responsible for weekly petty cash count

j.     Liaise with tax agents & auditors to comply with statutory requirements

k.     Preparation of audit schedules, tax schedules, tax computation and all other related works

n.    Ensure documents are well organized and filed up-to-date

o.    To administer new basic course packages development and basic course packages updating

p.    Support accounting policy implementation

3. INTERNAL CONTROL

a.    Ensuring adherence to Standard Operating Procedures

b.    Carry out of duties as per request or instruction of superior with proper documentation or recording

c.     Set an example of honesty and professionalism inside and outside of the company

d.    Work together with other departments to further enhance the net profitability of the company's operations

e.    Constantly look into the improvement of workflow, work efficiency, quality and innovation

4. SUPPORT SERVICES

  1. Extended administrative support to another department when requested
  2. To support on marketing promotions, student recruitment and job placement activities
  3. To attend and participate in the Departmental Meeting, Management Meeting and Cost and Revenue Meeting when requested
  4. To perform ad-hoc and important duties requested by the Company/Management from time to time
