About the role

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to join our thriving JADE COMMERCIAL SERVICES' team in Bandar Putra Kulai Johor. As a full-time Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations and ensuring the efficient, effective and safe management of our storage facilities.

What you'll be doing

  • Developing and implementing warehouse policies and procedures to optimise storage capacity, inventory control and distribution
  • Supervising and leading a team of warehouse staff, including delegating tasks, monitoring performance and providing training and development opportunities
  • Maintaining accurate inventory records and generating reports to track stock levels, identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions
  • Coordinating the timely and efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of all goods and materials
  • Ensuring the warehouse environment meets all relevant health, safety and security standards
  • Collaborating with other departments to align warehouse operations with the overall business strategy
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing cost-saving initiatives

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a warehouse management role, preferably within the Farming, Animals & Conservation industry
  • Strong understanding of warehouse management principles, inventory control systems and logistics operations
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure
  • Proficient in using warehouse management software and other relevant technologies
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with various stakeholders
  • Proven track record of leading and motivating a team to achieve operational goals
  • Working knowledge of health and safety regulations in a warehouse environment
